BlueDog's senior walker and dog trainer, Amy Kisiel, is a certified dog trainer through the Mount Ida College Dog Training Program, has volunteered at a number of rescue leagues and has experience training rescued dogs.  BlueDog's founder, Kimberly Palermo, has been training dogs since childhood, becoming professionally and competitively involved after getting her dog, Elsa, seven years ago.  She has trained under a number of world renown trainers.  They have a combination of over 10 years of experience training dogs, are members of The Association of Pet Dog Trainers, and encompass a true love and passion for dogs.

And if your dog is walked by BlueDog, your walker will be trained to be consistent with your training by Amy herself so that they can reinforce what your dog has learned with every visit!

6-Week Training Program

Most behavioral problems turn up due to underlying issues, a lack of structure, or simply because your dog doesn't know what you want him to do.  Our 6-Week Training Program helps you create a foundation of basic manners, and then troubleshoots the BIG problems.  This program is also perfect for puppies who need to learn basic obedience.  The program includes 6 weekly hour-long sessions at your home, based on your schedule.  We will work directly with you and your family to teach everyone how to train your dog.

Private 1 Hour Sessions

Need to brush up on some basic obedience?  Need some leash work?  Preparing for a new puppy?  Want to teach your dog how to adjust to a new baby?  A one-hour session in your home, based on your schedule may be all you need.  Call us to find out if an hourly session could be for you.
